Nah its not working in Ds1 its a new mechanig from ds3 and this is rework not a remake.

You could in the original DS1, but that was a hilarious bug. It got fixed for DSR.

I mean technically you can still twohand bows in the left hand.

Pretty sure that was a new mechanic from ds2, ds3 was missing left hand weapon rolling, sprinting, ariel plunge attacks, etc.
