Stop invasions?

Okay I'm a complete ds noob and just out of curiosity is there anyway to disable invasions?

EDIT - thanks for all the help everyone! I was just really worried about the hacker invasions adn stuff

you need to play offline, or block dark souls with your firewall / windows firewall from connecting.

Stay hollow or play offline. You will still get AI invaders offline, but they're very rare.

Id suggest you remove that post angry video game noob just a tip.

Its pretty simple stay hollow of play offline what i mean with hollow dont use effigys unless you know where youre going before a boss so people dont get a chance. If you stay hollow you can stil co op with ppl instead of ignoring that too. The pvp is broken like 2 and 3.

they will never. fix the problems from the first game

For future reference. If you play Hollow, nobody can invade you. If you unhollow yourself and somebody invades you, just quit the game. This seemingly kicks the invader out and you can continue playing from the same spot. Disconnecting internet temporarily might do the same.

However, after invasion you get safe period without them. I don't think you get those when quitting.

If you quit, invaders can invade as soon as you start the game again. Do this enough times and there is a possibility you yourself can get a restriction for evading online play

LoL there aren't even that many invasions in this game. In fact I welcome them. This game doesn't h ave support anymore so they are not going to change anything. Just play hollow and then problem solved. Are you that thick?
