Looks like they messed up in Remastered when it comes to lighning.
[4K] Dark Souls Remastered vs Modded PC Original - Is It Worth The Upgrade?
Go to 3:28 for direct comparisons.
It seems a bit different visually but nothing you will likely realy notice without comparing them side to side. If you like dark souls and want to play with an active community, now is probably the last horrah it will have, for $20 I think you'd be crazy to miss it.

That looks very cartoonish...
So it's confirmed. I've found some new comparisons:

No idea what this is but this is NOT what the game looks like. At all. Something is very wrong with your armor textures.
Generally it looks about the same as before. Most things look better, some a little worse. Most importantly though, it is very smooth and fluid. Make sure not to put the gamma values too high.
Edit: The main difference I've seen when it comes to lighting is that the light the character itself casts is noticably stronger in the Remastered edition, which sometimes looks better but sometimes worse as well. Depends on the surroundings.
everyone has told you that since weeks . so deal with it or refund
I already got a refund. And no, nobody has been talking about black crush for weeks.
Meanwhile, I was looking at the nice scenery behind you.
yes the background is a little sharper in the remaster compared to ds fix (up scale 1440p)
