Diagonal rolling

So im on keyboard and mouse, and rolll works for other angles but like when i try to diagonal roll it only works half the time, its not like i cant do it but sometimes pressing space when im moving diagonally will roll and sometimes it wont, really frustrating me

I think rolling is based on the angle of the camera, so you can technically roll diagonally if you don't lock onto anything. If you're locked on and the target doesn't move that much you can only roll into four directions.

well i held down w+d and spammed space and it rolled on the third time but not the first 2 despite not shifting the camera, agh this is confusing me, i keep dying because i dont roll

Yeah i understand that now, its just when i travel like diagonally backwards and i start pressing space it seems to only initiate a roll 50% of the time

I tried a controller and have no problem doing rolls while moving diagonally, but when i use keyboard and mouse it only works half the time and its getting me killed :/ improved mouse and keyboard is one of the reasons i got this remaster...

Same issue here. It has happened to me on controller as well. I compared and it does not happen in PTD.

I know, when im not locked onto an enemy and i try to diagonal roll it only works about 50% of the time, is the problem :/

I know that... but if i hold down say s+d key the role only works around 50% of the itme, sometimes roll works and sometimes it just doesnt

I have exactly the same problem. Sometimes I have to double-tap my spacebar and sometimes nothing happens. I tested a bit and it seems it's dependent on the camera angle while you hold two direction keys (like A & W or S & D). While pressing only one key (W, A, S or D) it's not a problem.

For me, it's very unsatisfying. My character has to roll if I want that and not only in 60% of the times. By the way, my keyboard supports anti-ghosting.
