Game Running in Slow Motion
Game runs at an average of 40 FPS, 53 max, and the game looks to be in slow motion (I know what it should look like, I played the original game). Please help. I've been messing with the settings, changed the compatibility, setting it to run as administrator, setting the priority to "Above Normal" and only the FPS changes.

Computer Specs:
OS Name Microsoft Windows 10 Home

System Type x64-based PC

Your computer is a toaster, if you can still refund you should.

I am having the same issue. FPS counter says 60fps. then all of a sudden, it drops to what looks like 5fps. counter says 30fps.

Windows 10 Pro
Ryzen 5 1600x
16gb ram
GTX 1060 3g

I'll keep the game and just play it later. In the mean time, I want to try and figure if I can get this to work. Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition runs better than this.

The game doesn't have frame skipping. It uses game speed, kind of like an emulator. 100% game speed is 60fps. 40fps is approximately 67% game speed.

Because Prepare to Die edition is still the compressed textured console port. You most likely won't be able to run this at 60 fps.

Having the same issue with a 6700k with a 1080ti @3440x1440p. It happens randomly with nothing in particular causing it.

game runs at 60 (for the most part so far) for me, dropping to 50 at the lowest

If the game can't render the 60fps, it'll drop to 30. Thing is, it's not "skipping frames" so game gets half speed. I believe this to be a bug.

The sharp drop from 60 to 30 isn't a bug, that's just how V-Sync works. As such I'd recommend turning that off if you can't maintain a constant 60
