Very Large Ember
Dark Hand
Darkwraith Covenant
This is where everybody got flooded to death. You need a special ring to even traverse the abyss, so if you became dependent on something and don't want your other ring to break you have to make a strategic choice here and go out of your comfort zone. I loved it
New Londo has just as much lore related to it as any other post-lordvessel locations.
It's dark ambience not only is genuinely good, but also serves as a great reminder of what setting you're in.
Unlike Izalith and Archives, New Londo doesn't feel empty, because there are no huge open areas filled with nothing but re-used enemies.
And Darkwraiths are easily one of the most memorable characters from DS franchise.
As mentioned, the Jagged ghost blade can kill the ghosts, but it's also a great weapon outside of just that, and anyone can use it - even a SL1.
It's great for roll catches, shield turtles, and fun to play around with at low to mid level.
