just purchased dark souls remastered for pc

I will be using pc keyboard and mouse and need the patch for the keyboard layout, any help appreciated. specifically the location for the DSfix24, I cant see the data folder

You don't us DSfix with Remastered. And I dunno about kb/m I find any DS unplayable unless I'm using a controller

In they are two files, you need to open DarkSoulsKeys and change key values... You only need to change the camera and movement keys that are locked then you can change rest via game settings.

it took me many hours to figure out whats what and still don't have a clue what I did, but now im able to use cursor keys to for movement.

I played for years with mouse and keys. Got a controller and it made the game more playable and enjoyable. The mouse and keys can be used but not well suited for this game.

Thank's for all the input folks. The reason I am using keyboard and mouse is, it's a lot easier on my arthritic thumbs, the controller kills me..lol. Ganger, I will try what you have said and let you know how it goes...thanks again folks

You seem to know what youre doing so, let me just ask this real fast:
If I do it like that will lock-on change work via Keyboard?
Im currently playing KB only and i cant change lock ons at all.
And just btw cant you just use Keyboard/Mouse Alt in options for everything if you dont plan on using Keyboard only?

Well, I cant find the folder Users / {yourname} / AppData / Local / FromSoftware / NBGI / Darksouls. I dont even see the AppData folder in Users/ {yourname} , what am I missing?

I can't even quit the game, I don't see any options in-game to quit properly. I believe I used alt-tab

The file is hidden, goto control panel > File Explorer Options > View and click (Hidden files and folder) enable Show hidden files, folders, or drives

The game is playable on keyboard and mouse, especially if you got the remaster. That famous World Of Warcraft streamer, streamed his first playthrough using a KB&M and he still uses a KB and mouse.

Ive used mouse and keyboard for years and still do...Played 1k hours ,,,and i tried controller and just to move camers to was weird to me,,i like were you move it looks auto!!
