DSR: Serious Blighttown Help

Right so I am stuck,
-I'm at the first bonfire and i can't get to the second one.
-My uchigatana (I think it's like +4) is at risk and could break so I have to use the halberd which is weaker so that makes it even harder, so that goes onto my third thing.
-I'm not sure wether I should go back up to the merchant in the depths and get the crystal straight sword, but it's only 60 durability.
-Finally, is anyone able to arrange co-op (I'm on pc) to just help me out.

Have you got to blighttown through the depths?

If so, if it is being hard to get down through the enemies, and you dont get help here (sorry, I cant now), try going back through the depths.

I'd consider creating a new character with a master key tbqh.

If you get out of blighttown, consider this.
Trhough darkroot, at the black knight cave, go past the bonfire, down the elevator, through drakes valley (past the undead dragon), you will get entrance to blighttown and a key to open the door to new londo, so you can access blighttown through firelink.

Or . . . with master key you can start the game, down firelink through new londo ruins and access blighttown from the start. (but, yeah, low damage and you will have low HP and no gear too. If that is a problem, get some then go down).

(also, just a tip. Go with a bow and some 30 or 40 arrows to make sure you go through there and get the firekeeper soul . . or just kill the first and second guy and have a clear path to the bonfire at the floor of blighttown).

Oh, and avoid using the weapon special so you avoid breaking it for longer.
The real problem is that you probably got your weapon almost broken at the boss and you havent returned to bonfire with the repair kit so you cant repair it.
Consider buying it from Andre.

Yes I beat the capra demon and the gaping dragon and all that, its not that its too hard i just dont know where to go and i dont have my main weapon

. . . how you dont know who is Andre if you have a +4 weapon?
He is the blacksmith near the gargoyles boss (past Andre is a big demon that use lightning attacks and a big weapon).

I'd backtrack to buy the Repair Kit from the blacksmith which you should've bought at the first opportunity anyway.
It kinda sucks because you have to go back through Upper Blighttown, the Depths and through the Undead Burg, but it's less annoying than the other choices.
Your +4 weapon also kinda sucks anyway, it should be upgraded further for the upcoming boss or it'll take quite some time to take her down. Make sure to have at least 1 Large Titanite Shard in the inventory before returning to the blacksmith, I believe you can pick one up from a copse in the Depths but several monsters and crystal lizards also drop them.
So... you backtrack to the blacksmith. You buy the Repair Kit and the Weapon Smithbox (Armor Smithbox is worth the investment, too, but definitely less useful and not required if you're a bit broke). You upgrade the Uchigatana to +5 (buy Titanite Shards directly from the blacksmith or farm them from Hollow Soldiers or Balder Knights in the Undead Burg + Parish if you need more). You ascend it to +6 with one Large Titanite Shard. This is important because the Weapon Smithbox only allows UPGRADING weapons, but not ASCENDING them. Then you go down to Blighttown again, but are able to repair your gear at every bonfire and you can also further upgrade your weapon with Large Titanite Shards that you find around Blighttown.

You should go back up even though it seems like a pain. You need a weapon repair kit.
Even if someone helps you down to the bottom you won't be able to beat the boss with an unupgraded halberd. And it will be a pain to explore the area with ♥♥♥♥ weapons.
So the options are really:
1. Go back.
2. Let someone finish the whole area for you.

Oh... Let me elaborate. If you have a master key it's a good idea to avoid Depths and a major part of Blighttown. You'd normally kill Capra, get the ember in Depths and head back to Firelink via shortcut. Then you can go upgrade your weapon above +5 and go down to New Londo -> Valley of Drakes -> Blighttown.

... just play the game normally. It's a game focused on exploration and world building. Skipping major parts doesn't make sense for your first playthrough. It's useful for subsequent playthroughs to for example get to specific items more quickly or to keep bosses active for multiplayer purposes, but it simply doesn't make any sense if you don't even really know what you're skipping.

@TrueArchery You're right. Good point. I speedrun all areas and I know most item locations, so it didn't even cross my mind... Anyways the OP's situation is quite ♥♥♥♥♥♥ ~_~

I did about the same path as him, but I gone to Andre and killed the gargoyles and Sif before going to the depths then blight town . . . but I had the repair kit with me already and I have gone to blighttown before through darkroot then valley of the drakes, so when I got to blighttown again I was prepared with arrows and anti-poison (that I noticed were useless against the super poison and I had only 2 to clean me from super poison, as I didnt knew how many of these I would have to fight, I even struggled dying once there but as they dont respawn I managed to get through and found the firekeeper soul - then I found out the bonfire wasnt even there, it was down the swamp and I didnt need to care about those pesky guys with super poison, lol).

(and yeah, I didnt skip a thing and gone into wiki to check stuff after I made my searchs at my playthrough . . . by luck, when I decided to go past the hydra that I have already killed before reaching anor londo, I found a crystal golen and I had already the item to go to DLC . . but was all out of pure luck).

Still, I couldnt figure how to activate the dragon DLC boss.
I cant hit it with a bow as I am not good with it and it just dont land for me to attack it with melee.

Guess you need to talk to the blind sniper dude (Gough) after the first kalameet encounter.
