Sunlight Spear

Do you need to be Rank 2 in Warrior of Sunlight to use the sunlight spear or will just being in the covenant work?

From what I know, you gotta be at least rank 1. I have never tested this myself but that's what the wiki says.

To get Sunlight Spear you need to get Great Lightning Spear first which you obtain at Rank 1... So you need to be Rank 1 to get Sunlight Spear by proxy.

But if you leave the Sunlight covenant after gaining said spells then just rejoining at rank 0 means you can use Sunlight Spear.

You can use the other two.. Lightning Spear and Great Lightning Spear whether or not your in the Covenant.

Unless things have changed since PTD edition.

And this wiki says that you don't need to be +1 to learn the spell, just offering the soul is enough, in case you left the covenant and rejoined.

What I didn't see on the wiki was that you needed to offer 10 sunlight medals, meaning you get +1 and thus the great spear. If you then leave and rejoin you can get it at rank 0

And why should I "just" believe you in the first place instead of the wiki. I don't know you. Since you also added "unless they changed it from ptd edition" indicating you don't know this from experience in the remastered version and they could have very well changed the way it worked to make it easier to obtain.
