You can do both, I have my OG copy of the game but dumping into an SSD Makes the game load 10x faster than the standard PS3

Thanks for reply... Ah, I didn't have my disc and ordered another one. I wasn't keen on getting ISO files from the internet. What is an OG copy? My thought was to just copy the files from the disc and put them on an SSD like you did. Is there a link for how to do this. The disc was a bit more to buy than the digital copy of the game but I thought I would not be able to copy the game files off the PS3 from the digital copy.

Well the disc came in brand new! But unfortunately it can not be read by my BluRay Drive so it looks like I am out of luck on doing this on my current machine. I ordered one of the compatible drives listed: LG BP50NB40 drives. I have tried a number of downloadable ISO files but they all have passwords, want a survey completed, and sign up for something with your credit card. Not doing that.

Is it playable with controller?

I have been able to play it with both the PS3 and Xbox One controllers. Both connected to PC via USB connector. There are settings where you can change the controller used.

RPCS3 supports both DS3 and 4 natively without any middle driver as well all other type of Xinput controllers

Just type PS3 ISO download on Google there's plenty of websites, try ps3iso.net

NOPE, Sony owns the IP but we don't really it, because the game 1000x times better than PS3
