Whole game is outdated and compared to Ds3 or even Ds2, game is still unfinished. There are couple of areas that were never finished and never will be.
Combat is slow and clunky. And if You will play online You will be invaded by twinks, backstab fishers and/or script kiddes.
They're both old by now, aren''t they?
On the other hand I kinda agree: they should give away PTDE for free by now
"To be honest I doubt You will enjoy Dark Souls Remastered that much anyway.

I mean yes, it is still Dark Souls 1 Prepare to Die edition, this is how the game is (if you view it the way you do). Invaded by twinks? Make your own twink. Backstab fishers? There are several ways to counter. Script kiddes? Just report/block/move on. Nothing out of the ordinary or extreme, this is simply Dark Souls
PS. Remasters of Bioshock 1-2 and Skyrim were given for free, provided you bought originals before. Bamco's greed>EA.
You really don't know what you are talking about. Skyrim remastered is just a ENB added to the original; Bioshock 2...almost the same, they didn't restart from 0.
Neither did they start from 0.
Hence why they call it remaster not a remake.
They even broke the flip animation... Dragon butt? Invisible platform right after? Lazy textures all around the world. And it is just a few things that ARE still in "remaster".
This is not even remaster, it does not deserve to be called like that. It's lazy patch for 20$ after 7 years of waiting.
Even 60fps does not keep 100% of the time but it should. Frame rate is still tied to game speed.
I would pay even 60$ if they would finish whole game(Lost Izalith), added some of the good cut content and if it would not break things anew.
Dsfix, if set up correctly, works on steady 60fps but that comes with baby jumps and occasional ladder drowning and of course You need good machine for it.
Have you ever heard of remastered edition of movies for example? They enhance digitally the overall quality, all the outdated effects and stuff like that, but they don't remove from the movies the bad scenes that people didn't like :P It's not a necessary job.
Every game has glitches, and trying fixing one generates 100+ new smaller bugs, it's a huge job, and you people don't know nothing about it.
I have finished 2 times dark souls, once in the PTDE with DSfix and once in the remastered edition: I didn't come across any glitch, and in the end i enjoyed much more the remastered. It's not tolerable for a big publisher to leave a broken game available only thanks to a mod, which doesn't even work perfectly.
You finished it 2 times, good. I and plenty of others spended more then thousands of hours in both games.
And just because You do not see something does not mean it is not there.
