I think you forgot to take into account EGO gifts. The child of Galaxy has one of the best EGO gift (that's easy to farm) for exemple.
Here's my list for those interested :
S Tier : Der Freischutz: Not only his weapon isn't bait, but he is a fantastic justice trainer, making it one of the few safe HE option to farm your justice (funeral of the dead butterfly, isn't safe enough as it will escape, despite being easy to supress).
On the weapon : that thing can solo orange and green dusk. In most of my runs, I had that one employee going solo against tone of the orange / green spawner. The other employees needed aleph gear to do the same solo. It's also okay choice for orange midnight for cleanup duty. (and pale noon) It falls off lategame, but it carries early and mid as long as you remember to not let other employee in the same corrigor.
The Snow Queen : EGO gift, great temperance and prudence trainer. Ok EGO gear.
A Tier : Laetitia : Temperance trainer (better for temperance than snow queen). Also guns, best HE weapon in the game.
The Child of the Galaxy: can train any skill. Gives a good ego gift. Also gives an effect that heals after working on it. However it comes with the big caveat of losing everyone that worked on him if his Qlipoth ever falls to 0. But he's one of the riskier HE to use. Still, I think the reward outweighs the risk.
The weapon and armor is nothing special though.
Funeral of Dead Butterflies: Escapes too easily, but not difficult to kill. Good EGO weapon.
B Tier : All-Around Helper:
Rudolta
Those 2 are relatively inoffensive, and can be good trainers.
Schadenfreude (note : the gimmick isn't as bad as you make it to be. Just don't look at him. Even if it escapes by mistake, just don't look at him and he'll be dealt with without being able to deal actual damage. (I think people don't undestand the fact that even if it escapes, you still shouldn't look at him and he can't do anything). Good justice and prudence trainer.
Red Shoes (I really don't like the red shoes, if it was just my personal feelings it would be a D... but i think you're right, that abnormality isn't that bad.)
C Tier : Scarecrow Searching for Wisdom.
Almost a B as he's not difficult to deal with past early game, but he can ruin the life of newer player, and his EGO is really useless. You're better off not having him... except for completing quests.
Porccubus : bane of early game for newer players. inoffensive late game.
Happy Teddy Bear : Useless EGO. It looks manageable, but mid late game when you have to micromanage 20+ abnormalities, you'll forget about it, and you'll lose one of your employee because you forgot the order of your rotations, and the last employee you used on jim. Do yourself a favour and don't pick it. Even if you do, i'd recommend not using it as a trainer as it will ruin your day more than once just from inattention.
D TIer :
Warm-Hearted Woodsman: Ignore it and you'll be fine. Still a bad abnormality to pick, the EGO isn't even good, and you can't really work with it efficiently.
Nameless Fetus : I'll preface by saying that I believe Nameless Fetus can be a B with the right setup : that setup involves not having any escapable abnormality in the departement, in which case you can just make your employee leave and ignore him if he start crying. (one way to do it is, when you can chose between training and safety, you put nameless fetus with 2 item abnormalities and a non escapable entity on one side, and everything else on the other).
The reason you might want that monstrosity in your facility is that the EGO gift is actualy quite decent. Increasing movement speed and attack speed by a pretty decent buff for a He is quite nice, and the helmet's spot isn't overcrowded. (by comparaison laetitia's gift, which is also a helmet, is really average).
Still, never pick it if you can't put it in a safe spot. The Qlipoth will inevitably fall to 0 and you'll have to sacrifice an employee to stop the crying, or else the other abnos will escape.
F Tier : Singing Machine. This one is just a nightmare. And the EGO is not even good either.
If that thing start singing, you'll lose a lot of employee. Worse, if you don't have the execution bullet yet, it's pretty hard to stop a charmed employee in time (especialy if you don't notice it right away).
But the worst part about it is how stealthy that thing can be. You don't notice anything and bam you lose an employee because you didn't notice it starting to possess employees.
Same goes for TETH, but almost all TETHs would be C tier at max cause most of them are garbage due to Level Modifier and power creep.
The only thing I have to say here is this: The formula for XP is based on the Amount of PE-boxes Acquired * Damage Multiplier * Level Multiplier. The Child of the Galaxy heals the employee, and by extension the gift, causing the damage multiplier to be mostly at 0.4x. The highest multiplier is 1.5x for employees who lost 90% of their HP, 2nd highest is 1.3x for 80%. This means they are 3x to 3.75x less efficient then any other training abnormality.
I would still rank Child of the Galaxy as a High B or even A tier, as once you done training your employees, you can use the Healing for suppression and other stuff, so long as you know the risk of having an employee with the Pebble of Friendship.
Thats all I have to say.
I feel the same way - considering that with a few very rare exceptions, most ZAIYN and TETH usually end up on the wayside by the time you unlock central command and end up ignored for the rest of the game, so there's really no point in rating them since most of them probably are going to end up in the C rating anyway (unless the gimmick is just that interesting).
Edit: What do you mean by 'damage multiplier'?
