It's entirely text and images, which maybe takes away from some aspect of the game. But they link to images of Abno's guidelines and lore which I love, and even music so you can listen to the appropriate music as you read. They go into detail behind why things are (probably) named a certain way too. It's not a blind playthrough, they're rather experienced, but that lets them set up the story a bit better.
Oh yeah, they personalize all the employees by giving them dialogue in the text. It's hilarious
Fair disclaimer if anyone else chooses to read it: At the bottom of the Table-of-Contents, there's extra stuff like "mechanics talk". Those are made parallel to the story, and explain mechanical bits of the game or add extra dialogue between agents, but its not explained when to read them. I suggest whenever a department is finished, skip down and read up to the "Abnormality Roundup" for that department before returning to the story
