Lobotomy Corporation

I really want to play the next games
I really want to play Library of Ruina and Limbus Company, but I also don't want to miss lore/context from this game. There's just one problem: I have a major case of skill issue. I take the game way too slowly and burnout long before I can even get past safety team.
I love the lore and am very hesitant to move on without even knowing what those "Core Suppression"s I've seen mentioned are, but I cannot play the game.

So uh, any advice? Should I watch a playthrough? A video explaining the lore? Another solution? (And if a video, any recommendations?)

If you find this game too hard and feels like you will burnout, it's fine to watch a playthrough. Although for ProjectMoon games it's recommended to play the game because the stories are very integrated with the gameplay. I think Lobotomy Corporation is the hardest of the three games. Library of Ruina is easier but still requires some skill and for you to read and understand the mechanics. Limbus Company is the easiest of the three, but even then some people managed to be stuck on some levels.

Any playthrough recommendations?

LambdadeltaYT is pretty fun, but his humor can be a bit edgy sometimes. Foreman Plays is also good.

I'll check both out, thank you!

I personally recommend the exact opposite: play blindly through the game and enjoy the experience for what it is. I thought this made for a marvelous game to jump into without any information going into it, and that added much to the charm for me.

I don't think you read my post. I've tried, several times, to play the game. I can't get past Safety Team before I burnout and can't play anymore

In case anyone stumbles across this, I think I've settled on this one:
https://lparchive.org/Lobotomy-Corporation/

It's entirely text and images, which maybe takes away from some aspect of the game. But they link to images of Abno's guidelines and lore which I love, and even music so you can listen to the appropriate music as you read. They go into detail behind why things are (probably) named a certain way too. It's not a blind playthrough, they're rather experienced, but that lets them set up the story a bit better.
Oh yeah, they personalize all the employees by giving them dialogue in the text. It's hilarious

Fair disclaimer if anyone else chooses to read it: At the bottom of the Table-of-Contents, there's extra stuff like "mechanics talk". Those are made parallel to the story, and explain mechanical bits of the game or add extra dialogue between agents, but its not explained when to read them. I suggest whenever a department is finished, skip down and read up to the "Abnormality Roundup" for that department before returning to the story
