Whats the dif between square monster pods and circle monster pods?

Go to the codex, some monsters are in circle pods ( Like La Luna ) but some are in squares ( Like bald is awesome ) so whats different between the two?

Also unrelated note, on this forum should I use the little spoiler blocks over abnormality names?

Circle ones are basically Korean backer rewards designed by the backers. They don't count towards the 100% Abnormality encyclopedia completion.

Pretty much that, yeah. Also, the round ones tend to be harder to manage then the default square ones. I guess people wanted a bit of a challange (not that i can blame em)... :P

They're also almost all WAW or ALEPH level, with only one Teth/HE level (i forgot which level specifically) abnormality in the round boxes. So, may wanna hold off on picking them unless you're feeling able enough to handle something tougher then usual. (The round-box tool abnormality is pretty neat and good to have, though!)

I wouldn't say that - generally speaking I think that all the backer abnos fit in nicely into the game with some of them even having similar gimmicks to other existing abnos (queen bee <-> melting love, big bird <-> clouded monk, old lady <-> parasite tree), etc. If the game didn't tell me they were backer-made abnos, I probably couldn't tell, with the possible exception being AiB. That one definitely feels like a joke.
