Is Whiteknight really worth it?
I pretty much unlocked all the abnormalities. The only weapon I am missing is Whiteknights, I tried a few times to fight him, but I feel like he isn't worth it.

Whats your opinion?

Doesn't WhiteNight's armor get a buff if the full EGO set is equipped?

Anyway, the weapon gives off a survival esque feeling:
  • The weapon has highest Pale damage(16-20 / 19-23 / 22-28, it increase the more enemies are around it) and is pretty quick attack speed.
  • Slows enemies by 40% every attack(does not stack).
  • Critical Hit that adds a shield to the user that blocks 100 of all Damages. (Requires Abnormality)
  • The Weapon prevents healing from the regenerators, but the user can heal 2-4 points of HP and SP every target the weapon's attack hits.

I give it a solid 4/5, it is very fitting with the theme they are going for with WhiteNight. If the answer to the question above is a Yes, then it is recommended to obtain said weapon.

Edit: There might be something off with a few of these numbers, but I am not going to triple checking them at the moment.

WK EGO Armor gets a buff to all resistances (0.2 Resistant if I recall) if White Knight is present in the facility. Otherwise its just Endured.

Well theres a really good way to cheese him, but it will take a while to prepare
(you need "shelter of 27" and to have advanced high enough to be able to encounter midnigth ordeal) you have to use The green midnigth ordeal "LAST HELIX" to kill whiteknigth, while one of your employees stays on the shelter of march 27, until whiteknigth dies

I am talking about the other bonus, if user is struck with 10 or less damage, heal that damage.

You don't need the shelter necessarily, The last helix alone can kill WhiteNight. The last Helix's laser will deals 60-120 damage per second, enough to kill any abnormality and employee so long as they are not immune to Black damage, have resistances to absorb the Black damage (Ex: WhiteNight's armor and Big Eyes), and are standing right inside of the 2 lasers(double the damage).

You technically wouldn't even need to finish the day with the Last Helix method, just hit Memory Repository, and that's a instant save&reset to day XX. (Frankly, not sure if you even need any employees alive to save your progress in this manner. But i guess it never hurts keeping someone in the Shelter just in case.)

If you didn't complete the Extraction team Core Supression you'll lose E.G.O equipment from the employees that died, but otherwise, if you did complete it, then nothing is lost, and you'll succesfully gain and keep the weapon, too!

As for is it worth it the hard way, AKA fighting it? No. If you ask me no, definitely not.
Feels like Twilight does the job well enough, no need for WN's weapon too, unless you're trying to complete the whole set of E.G.O equipment.
if i remember correctly an easy way to suppress WhiteNight is to actually use One Sin and Hundreds of Good Deeds. the 12th saved soul that triggered WhiteNight (aka the person wearing the plague doctor mask) must go perform work on One Sin and Hundreds of Good Deeds, although all of the options will be set to "Confess" instead of their usual counterparts. Unsure if this works entirely as it *might* kill all of your employees but take that with a mountain of salt.

The intent of this thread is seeing if it is worth suppressing WhiteNight without this method to obtain the weapon.
