Why does it cost LoB to customize?

I get what your saying. Sure it should cost lob points if you are making a character with upgraded values like justice 2 or something.

But making a custom character that starts off with the base values? Yeah, that should be free.

1 point is really cheap once you are far in the game but if you want
to customize early... or a lot of people, this cost can make the game harder
for no good reason.

All that to say: I agree. They should remove the cost of customization.

Does customizing only change the appearance? Can't you just do that by leaving the hiring screen and clicking it again to randomize?

I mean, it would take a staggering amount of retries to get what you want (And the names have a limited list that likely don't have what you want to include). My bigger annoyance is that I can't mod the personality/starting title of an employee. Especially since those affect stats.

So there's this mod[www.nexusmods.com] that makes customizing your agent free. Regarding the question, yeah, there's no reason for it to cost 1 lob.
