"Grant Us Love" event
Seriously why does this even exist when there's zero counter play to it at all?

At minimum you're going to lose someone, yet most likely it hits one of the hubs and kills 5+ employees every single time.

move your employees out of the hub before the event starts, and then send in your employees who do white damage once they have dropped in.

The purple logo in the meltdown meter is your warning that it will drop in.

As Necronara said, the monoliths only drop in the large rooms so move all your agents into corridors or elevators however unluckly clerks will still die.

You're also given prior warning if it says the next ordeal is a violet noon in the meltdown bar

Move everyone to the elevators/corridors before the event starts just in case it's grant us love.

Or just do it for EVERY event, then you can't slip up by forgetting to check one part of the map. Takedown squads for the meltdown events and the rest running around the map and hiding is probably the best strategy in general

When I first encountered this I didn't know what it did so I kept my employees in the hubs to fight off whatever spawns, then everyone got murdered by the dropping Monolinths
Pain.

3 years later I've also fallen victim to this ordeal.

Ye, every ordeal is meant to counter a cheese tactic.

This one is where players keep everyone in their home rooms.

I wouldn't necessarily call that cheese when that's the default behaviour for agents. Not to mention, you won't get access to healing outside of the main rooms until well after Noons have started to spawn, meaning there's rarely ever any reason not to have your agents return to the main rooms after working at that point in the game.

An additional tip to actually cheese Noon of Violet though: move your agents to another department's main room. For some reason, the obelisks can only crush agents in their own department's main room but not if they're in another department's. This way they won't get crushed and can immediately start fighting the Noons.

Another oddity about Noon of Violet: it only spawns in the upper layer and Central. In never spawns in any of the departments past that, making it a relatively safe and quick ordeal to deal with. Especially compared to Noon of Green which will instantly mince any clerks and insufficiently strong/well-suited agents.

Edit: Yeah, getting blindsided and restarting the day after your first Noon of Violet is basically a rite of passage for new LobCorp players.
