OK, here are some tips.
Mountain doesn't leave the department it escaped from so there usually isn't much of a rush to suppress it. You can hit and run as much as you want.
If he escapes, execute all clerks in the department. Sucks to lose the department function bonus but it's better than having this abnormality in its final form.
Mountain will leave department/floor only if there are dead bodies around at the other floors or departments. And it will only follow those dead bodies. You don't really need to supress it at all. It is not going to attack anything, it just searching bodies. It will attack only if it was attacked or if there nearby some other clerks or agents. If there no bodies left or if it already at full HP with 3 parts - it will just wander around in one floor, as it is not hunting anyone anymore. Not very nice to lose Lob, but better than lose all agents.
And you can place your people in the corridors before Dawn/Noon is starting.
Supress Mountain with Ranged dps. If you can burst Mountain for 30-50% health - it will start to run away from you and search dead bodies. If there none dead bodies, it will just wander to the walls and not attack anything. If you do not let Mountain to grow - it is doing 0 damage. So try to kill it when it has only one body.
Do not forget that it is an Aleph, they are supposed to be hard and annoying. Description of "Aleph Risk Level" says "Abnormalities that are hard to contain and almost impossible to suppress".
And do not forget, that pressing "Day 1" will not reset your progress - you will still have all equipment you unlocked, all quests you have done, and all the bonuses you gained. But you will start from day 1 with no Abnormalities and only 1 Agent. You will need to restart like that few times during the game, to complete 100% of quests (because some of them are very specific).
I never been so wrong........
Bonus: my first run also has express train to hell. I can’t remember how many time i restart my day because of these 2 things.
Anyways, the way i would usaully take him down is whenever id see him ready to go breach id just set up some aleph tiers outside his place along with weapons. His hammer and mimicry are a great combo because one slows him down and the other attacks relatively fast which makes it easy for you to "attack lock" him. essentailly he'll keep biting and get nowhere so no bodies for him. also he has a relatively low health for an aleph in this stage so just cut him off while you can
IIRC Mountain's armor works extremely well against itself, or if you haven't got that yet, I've found Big bird's coat to be effective.
