Mountain of Smiling Bodies is the worst anomaly.
I seriously cannot express my hatred for this thing enough. I could go on for hours about why I hate this thing-- about how clerks somehow develop a sudden affinity to be eaten when within 10 miles of it, about how it breaks containment every single Dawn because Delta V and her idiot friends decided to try to run *through* a thick patch of Complete Food, about how the thing runs away faster than an employee with Justice V so that even if when you get it down to low health it just runs away as your suppresion team slowly wobbles on forward and the light slowly fades from your eyes as you decide whether to lose all your LOB points and pass the day or whether to restart and waste another hour of your life on this stupid thing. Case in point, ♥♥♥♥ this anomaly and ♥♥♥♥ clerks.

Put you can get a cool mask as a gift from him!

OK, here are some tips.

Mountain doesn't leave the department it escaped from so there usually isn't much of a rush to suppress it. You can hit and run as much as you want.

If he escapes, execute all clerks in the department. Sucks to lose the department function bonus but it's better than having this abnormality in its final form.

Big Bird is escaping on 25 deaths as well. So if you have both of them, it will be fun.

Mountain will leave department/floor only if there are dead bodies around at the other floors or departments. And it will only follow those dead bodies. You don't really need to supress it at all. It is not going to attack anything, it just searching bodies. It will attack only if it was attacked or if there nearby some other clerks or agents. If there no bodies left or if it already at full HP with 3 parts - it will just wander around in one floor, as it is not hunting anyone anymore. Not very nice to lose Lob, but better than lose all agents.

And you can place your people in the corridors before Dawn/Noon is starting.

Supress Mountain with Ranged dps. If you can burst Mountain for 30-50% health - it will start to run away from you and search dead bodies. If there none dead bodies, it will just wander to the walls and not attack anything. If you do not let Mountain to grow - it is doing 0 damage. So try to kill it when it has only one body.

Do not forget that it is an Aleph, they are supposed to be hard and annoying. Description of "Aleph Risk Level" says "Abnormalities that are hard to contain and almost impossible to suppress".

And do not forget, that pressing "Day 1" will not reset your progress - you will still have all equipment you unlocked, all quests you have done, and all the bonuses you gained. But you will start from day 1 with no Abnormalities and only 1 Agent. You will need to restart like that few times during the game, to complete 100% of quests (because some of them are very specific).

Party of two with white&red aleph weapon&armor can easily suppress this thing even in last stage

Its own Armor is giving almost immortality against it.

well and i hate star child welcome to club of hate some abnormalities
I picked this one as my 2nd aleph on my 1st run (first being blue star) because it doesn’t decrease its counter on normal work result and has qliphoth counter of 2. So, i think it will be easy to handle.
I never been so wrong........

Bonus: my first run also has express train to hell. I can’t remember how many time i restart my day because of these 2 things.

I always looked at smiles as the easiest aleph tbh. I have only gotten him in the corner of departments so ive never had an issue. As for clerks dying. 20 is a lot of clerks and usaully takes at least a noon and dusk to even get close to killing that many.

Anyways, the way i would usaully take him down is whenever id see him ready to go breach id just set up some aleph tiers outside his place along with weapons. His hammer and mimicry are a great combo because one slows him down and the other attacks relatively fast which makes it easy for you to "attack lock" him. essentailly he'll keep biting and get nowhere so no bodies for him. also he has a relatively low health for an aleph in this stage so just cut him off while you can

Yeah Mountain becomes a real pain when it evolves into its second and third forms. It's simple enough to have one or two guys with crossbows harass it and step away if it tries to throw up everywhere, but frustrating because of how long it'll take to get it to a more manageable state.

IIRC Mountain's armor works extremely well against itself, or if you haven't got that yet, I've found Big bird's coat to be effective.
