Imho an attack speed upgrade and/or 0.5 red armour would justify this thing - yeah, it s a pain in the ass, but at least you get some top-tier level gear.
There's even an abnormality that looks innocent and harmless but once it does it's thing fully, it becomes the WORST ABNORMALITY EVER. Ruiner of runs. In case you wanna know, it's... The Plague Doctor.
Anyway, the best way to counter-act this situation is to either load the last memory repository checkpoint (a checkpoint is made every 5 days, on days 1, 6, 11, 16, 21, 26... 31, 36, 41, etc...), if you haven't reached a checkpoint yet, then you can try and revert to a previous one before you had it.
If somehow the checkpoints don't help you and you still have it, then best you can do (if you can't handle the abnormality) is starting from day 1 again. It's unfortunate if you have to, but think on the bright side...
-There's so many abnormalities, one run won't let you see them all.
-As long as you remember the really bad ones, which are mainly a few, you'll be fine.
-You keep all your upgrades/research unlocks, abnormality codex info, E.G.O equipment, and such. Basically everything but employees/LOB points are kept.
-Mission progress is saved too, in a sense. Completed missions stay completed.
-To get to the end, you'll undoubtedly have to start a new run atleast once or twice.
-The upgrades you keep will enable you to replay old days faster (beat up enemies with better E.G.O stuff, instant acces to advanced researches like x2 speed and the special unlocks from defeating the Core bosses boost your abilities tremendously).
So, yeah, it's a grindy game with the occassional restart to day 1, but the grind is made far, far easier with the many things you unlock.
Some other, "hard to keep in cell and hard to suppress" abnormalities would be: King of hatred and Mountain of smilng bodies. Especially, if they come in combo.
Even if breached, she won't do much harm besides kill some clerks if you ignore her anyways..
