Does the Backward Clock remove all types of Qliphoth Meltdowns?
This is for cheesing a certain boss in the game along with day 49.

And I quote from the wiki:

"The effects of Backward Clock does not apply to these Abnormalities or Ordeals:

WhiteNight
Apocalypse Bird
An Arbiter
The Red Mist
Midnight Ordeals
Red Shoes
Black Swan
Army in Black"

If you're talking about Binah, I recommend using the Clock during phase 2 (after one suppression), which will skip it straight to phase 3.

Not trying to be rude, but I know what the Backward clock does. I wrote most of the page on the Wiki. Just asking a minor question on if it removes Meltdowns or not.

Hm, i THINK it did, but not 100% sure. There's been people posting vids where they'd just let her do her meltdown wave, use the clock to clear meltdowns, and aparrantly it weakens her and they beat her up essentially skip a phase relatively easily (at the cost of an employee).

Though that was used on the 2nd phase, dunno if it'd work on the 3rd phase. Or if it even works at all still, as its been a while, hm...

If I were to guess, I'd say that it wouldn't work, because the game treats meltdowns as "just about, but not quite, to breach." That said, I'd give it a 50/50 chance.

Also, sorry about parroting back to you something you wrote.

It was working before. However, they changed both Clock (as it was used to get Paradise Lost weapon and Twilight) and the Arbiter, so I am not sure if it is working anymore, as I never used it after the changes.

There is an issue with the clock, in which some creatures no longer register with the player interface. Your controls and employees won't interact with them, but the monsters certainly can do as they please to the employees.

I assume this is a bug, not a feature, since it can prevent fulfilling some goals at all.

It is a bug and mostly happening if those Abnormalities are currently untargetable. Like Amber Dusk worms under the ground or Abnormality is in the doors/lift transition moment. And similar.

Btw, say if you tested it and know the answer!

I had time to pick up the game again and I tested this minor question, that has major possibilities to day 49, for the Backward Clock. The Backward Clock will put everyone in the safest time in the day, that means it will remove Qliphoth Meltdowns and Overloads on abnormalities, since they are unsafe to the facility. If I remember correctly, it will not reset the Qliphoth Meltdown gauge on the top left of the screen, not like it matters that much since I don't have that much problem against Midnight.

Best to take another long term break until 2020 for the next game, will probably not pick up this game for a long time. Will still remember the ~2 years of owning the game and the ~1340 hours I spent on it.

So seems you still can cheeze Binah with it, huh. It can be really handy on day 49 then.
