Explosion experiments

A new build was just released, where we have added a destruction system. Dynamites and a simple rocketlauncher are now available and the explosions can break objects as well as give impulses to the surrounding objects.

World Launching trouble

I cant get any of the biomes to launch without the game crashing. only one I can get to load up is the flatlands. Just wondering if anyone else had this problem or a solution

Multiplayer released!

VR really shines as a social experience, so we've hastened development of the multiplayer support for Mekside and are now testing it in this Early Access release.

The currently deployed build of the game now features a "Connect to Server" option in the start menu, connecting you to our multiplayer server which is always running, simulating the physics, players and creatures inside it.

VR multiplayer in combination with the free building and physics is a really fun experience, and we will soon post some videos showcasing this!

I realize VR is in the title of the game but the game page doesn't list VR only. So I'm wondering if it's playable without a headset

this is amazing! Just a couple of things...

This is great, minecraft in Vive!! Couple of suggestions: 1. I have a nice setup, so locomotion never makes me sick. Can I have it not blur or mask peripherals when I move? 2. Anyway to change the trackpad sensitivity within the game? I feel like moving and jumping at the same time is a difficult maneuver....

Feedback after just a few minutes

I hate the tunnel vision when walking, and I don't understand it's purpose either. I think the game would benefit from these things the most, in order of importance: 1. More fun methods of movement, such as spiderman style, jetpack, rock climbing, or other ways that would be really fun for VR 2. Multiplayer of course, already in the works though. 3. Proper fighting with sword + shield with realistic physics on the weapons would be really fun. 4. Multibiome maps. I think each world is just a small ...

I fell through the floor and am stuck

there need's to be a respawn button becuase i fell through the floor and am stuck on the server and when i log out and back in im still stuck at the bottom of the world. But it's early access i can wait for a fix so hope you can find this bugsoon and fix it....
