Second, if you CAN fight the monsters down on floor 4+ reliably, then you can start converting the mana you gain into Barrels via Witch Petition(when you unlock it). Each barrel sells for a large sum of money, however, you must gain 30,000 Mana to petition for it, and that's not exactly cheap when a lot of things require large amounts of Mana.
Zone 4, not floor.
Yeah I was afraid I'd have to farm treasure, since stuff like the treasure barrel sells for 50K+
second option, go farm the ♥♥♥♥ out of the jiggly worms on the first 3 zones of the starter dungeon, they drop pretty regularly, i mostly sell them off
lol, don't play on easy mode. :)
I'm extremely careful, but most of my wipes are from unexpected ambushes or being cornered without any reinforcement for a mud gate. Falling down a sudden pit into a level with extremely powerful enemies and no clear exit.
bags of coin can sell for 10k.
Literally all of those are perfectly avoidable, so I think it ultimately does come down to "don't get wiped".
Enemies can just spawn behind you sometimes in corridors and you easily end up in situations where enemies catch you from both sides. Doesn't matter how careful you are in this game.
No they cannot "just spawn behind you sometimes". There's a dark aura that forms on the ground, growing over three steps, before an enemy spawns on that tile. It's always able to be avoided.
Yeah, Witch Bell is basically a free Mud Exit.
There's tons of long hallways in this game, I've had countless instances of monsters spawning behind me while trying to dodge enemies and getting trapped.
When you're running low of health and you find yourself with no reinforcement left to make a mud gate, you're kinda boned unless you dodge enemies and stealth your way out.
Also, Donum Attack, Donum Defense, Decoy, Convoy, and the health regen after battle petition all exist.
Also, making money means more supplies to use when out grinding for exp, mana, and silvers. The game's easy enough, even on nightmare. Just gotta find that balance and always know when to pull out.
Nah, early on those are worth 6K so they were my source of money for a long time.
