Thanx MrEWhite! It works like a charm! Feel yourself hugged! You saved my Day! ^_^
Paying £7 for this old game without the soundtrack , we shouldnt have to go messing around with it to solve issues, its going back.
:/
Have some faith. Some of the older Star Wars games came to steam and had issues and they were patched. Hopefully they'll sort the issues out quickly.
I see this has helped others - and for hat kudos! I also see I am a complete idiot when it comes to computers as I have no idea how to do what you had mentioned. I wish I could fix this game to play properly. Oh well, perhaps a patch will come out some day...
Anywise hit the exit the game......wait for a bit....you might have to hit escape as well....
whent he dos box opens....type setup...that will runthe set up.....choose the video mode.....it will probably have the vesa 2.0 default and thats it listed...hit enter...
onthe next screen alter the resolution.....1600 by 2000 is good......
should have no flickering.....but.....problem is the screen is smaller......sooo...dos box....with its terrible functioning renderer is being lame.....i have to read the manuals for it to figure out how to make it go full screen......
also setup is how you get the multiplayer working...
not sure if i want to spend this much time getting this to work correctly for silent people releasing this game.....i personaly think the releasing party should read the stuff and set it up correctly then patch the thing so idont have to do their job for them.
also too bad they didnt just release the actual cd in stead fohte files copied form it....
They could have released the image had dos box use it in a virtual drive and then gave everyone the sweet tunes from cds as well.
Looks like instead they copied the cd files only.....and didnt bother with anything else......which is too bad.
should have made this free...like shadow warrior...which on steam has a higher resolution and larger screen.....hmm.....
They fix it up and add soundtrack i shall buy again.
