I'm playing on Windows 8 and while the game successfully launches, a lot of things don't work as intended. Clicking Play causes a brief flash of the window that indicates the game is launching, followed by about 5 seconds of the cursor showing the computer is busy, then the cursor returns to normal and nothing happens.
