Better play SS3 in Fusion or original BFE?

Yep. Everything is good in Fusion, except some bugs.

It depends. Fusion has some changes in SS3:
- New monster attacks on high difficulties.
- No infinite ammo crates on higher difficulties. Except where it's essential.
- More ammo per clip.
- Can reload while running.

Overall, Fusion is harder on Serious and easier on Normal. If by "better" you mean "more challenge" then Fusion in Serious is your choice.

Also worth mentioning that Fusion loading times are heavenly compared to original BFE. Plus modding is more advanced, check out Workshop.

What about TFE and TSE. Are they harder on Serious and easier on Normal too?

Maybe it's just me but BFE also seems to run a LOT better in Fusion than the original. Much more in line with what TFE and TSE HD managed.

Fusion is 64-bit so it works better with modern hardware and doesn't have all the frame drops.

No, they're pretty much like in HD version.

There are small bugs/differences like hitboxes are different, sniping bulls may provide difficult from the side: https://steamcommunity.com/app/564310/discussions/0/1319962514593153984/ (or was it fixed?)

There is a bug in HD version that results in minigun's double damage. It was fixed in Fusion.

Also enemies now are much more capable at reaching you, kleers no longer stuck below in Tomb of Ramses III for example.

And more: https://steamcommunity.com/app/564310/discussions/0/135512625247919219/

Though this list is pretty long you won't notice much difference most of the time. Unlike BFE.

I personally see no reason in playing the original versions anymore.
Only thing that sucks is how Fusion fragments the playerbase and modding atm.

Well, it has optimizations, newer engine. Also it takes less space on a disk drive.

I don't think 64 bitness has much to do with experience though. Talos Principle using pretty much same engine shows no big difference between 32 an 64 bit versions.
