How to play VR

So i keep launching this game and it says it is VR friendly but i cant play VR anyway possible. I tried playing splitscreen with one person VR and second on PC and that also didnt work. What am i doing wrong and what i need to do or have to make it work? Pls help.

Steam's advertisement of Fusion being VR-compatible is a little misleading: Fusion is VR-compatible, but it requires you to own the VR re-releases of Serious Sam HD/BFE beforehand. Fusion streamlines things by allowing you to access your owned Sam VR titles in a single hub.

So i have to have a vr title to be able to play vr? But why would i buy the same game twice? And given if i had any vr version would it be possible to play split screen with one person in vr and one on pc?

It is the same game per say but Croteam spent a lot of time making VR work with it so they have to charge for it to pay for their dev time. It wasn't an easy task.

Far as I know split screen doesn't work with a VR and a PC player. Just on-line.

I mean the premiere between the titles are few month away. I dont wanna say they didnt do ♥♥♥♥ but how hard could it be if they done it in a few months. Also can you justify the abnormally high price for one of the titles? Not even talking about all of them. For the price of one game you could buy 5 full fledged games for VR and still have some money left instead of buying one port. Its a price i could pay for all of them not one. Dont get me wrong i like SS games. But frankly i dont think its worth the price and i dont see how the devs or anyone else could see differently.

It is what it is. They do have sales quite often so look out for them. I do highly recommend playing the VR cause Croteam did one amazing job making them! It's an amazing experience!

And no, the description tells you that you can also play the VR titles in Fusion. It's not a lie.
Also, Fusion is free. How is it a scam? Stfu.
