Cloud cross save between linux and windows

I just bought Ion Fury and found out that the cloud saves seems to be using different folders depending on the platform. I sometimes play on my desktop workstation which runs linux and then continue playing on my windows gaming rig, but looks like this game does not support cross save, which makes cloud save useless for me...

Is there any possibility for this to be fixed? aren't linux and windows savefiles compatible?
