Worth full price? Or wait for sale?
I just wanna say this game looks dope, though im not too into the franchise ( i guess there was a first game thats not a build engine fps, i like the Fem duke thing tho, sounds cool) anyways is it really worth 25 bucks or should I wait for a sale, and when was this game last on sale? Idk if i should just hold out and wait for the next big steam sale (if they even include this game) or just get it. Would it disappoint at full price? Let me also say i grew up playing Doom, Duke 3D, Unreal Gold, Quake, lol and another build engine wonder Redneck Rampage so this seems right up my ally. Just looking for thoughts from others who have given this a go..25 bucks for a retro style build engine indie game worth it or no?

I think it goes on a sale during every major steam sale. Ion Fury is pretty disappointing. I don't know what you're expecting from it or what your tastes in games are but if you think this will be infinitely superior to Duke Nukem or those old games then you'll be sadly disappointed. Its just OK. Not a must-buy masterpiece.
The level and weapon design rarely shows the level of imagination that Duke, Shadow Warrior and Blood have to offer (Though I'd still rather play this than SW).

Basically, if you have other indie shooters you're interested in you should buy them first and leave this one for later..

It's currently on sale on GOG if that helps. Bought it a couple days ago and I'm having a blast. Honestly worth full price as far as I'm concerned.

I mean, it's worth it IMO (I might be biased, though) but we do put it on sale a lot. If you wait a bit or try another platform like GOG it'll be cheaper. :)

If you`re trying to complete it 100%, then yea. Although like all FPS games, there are some slower sections that can seem slightly dull now and then...

It's pretty cheap already and a great game. If you like the holy trinity of build engine games this is a must play, if it was made back then it would have been praised just as much. But as aforementioned on sale a lot.

And i thought 94% positive reviews wouldn´t be self explaining.
The game is build engine to the core and i had a blast playing it so nothing wrong if you are capable to pay full price.

Worth it.

Absolutely worth it. The biggest disappointment is that there isn't more of it.

Is it worth the full price? Yes. If you can't wait to pick it up then you won't have any regrets by purchasing at the full price.

If you wanted to wait for a sale, "Sure", that works too. :P

I never pay full price for games, I wait for a sale, but thats just my philosophy as a general rule. As a result i get more games to play for less money so its a no brainer.

Tip: For any game you're interested in, check isthereanydeal.com to see price stats across multiple stores, including Steam and Steam key resellers. It only shows legit, trusted stores. You can see the current lowest store price, how often a game goes on sale, the historical low, etc. which will help you decide if it's worth waiting. Note that third party key sellers have their own refund policy (Steam's policy won't apply).

Worth full price. It's long and has lots of replay value.

Never purchase via third party key resellers:

25 dollars? The ♥♥♥♥?
Absolutely not, I paid 80 cents for it lol and it's worth then, otherwise I'd rate it as a 10$ game max, it's fun but kinda repetitive with primitive graphics etc.

But it's just me - never paid a 60$ for a game in my life, maximum I would go for is ~30$ fullprice even for something like elden ring or cyberpunk.

I don't think its fair to force your standards and financial situation out here when this thread is clearly with the westerners in mind.

25 dollars is a LOT in Russia and Ukraine, heck its a lot here in Poland but I don't think we are talking about it from that angle + games on steam get lower prices in those regions (MUCH cheaper in Russia, a tiny bit cheaper in Poland). Its kinda obvious you wouldn't pay anything close to 30 dollars when 30 dollars is a fortune for you.
