Question About Controller Setup
I'm playing with a controller (yeah, yeah, I know, KB+M, etc, etc...) and I'm trying to fine tune the analogue aiming.

I can play most FPSes such as Dusk with a controller and it fits like a glove; Ion Fury doesn't seem to have full anlogue aiming or at least, a good version of it. It seems there's very little 'scaling' between applying a slight pressure on the analogue stick or pushing it all the way. The game seems insistent on swinging my view wildly, however gently I nudge the stick.

I want to be able to fine tune the speed of my aiming so that it goes slower or faster depending on its distance from the deadzone, but I just can't get it to a state I consider suitable.

There's options in the controller menu for 'scale' and saturation' - I'd love to know what these at least mean, as I think they're the key to getting this to a comfortable medium. Can anyone help?

I hope the eventual console releases don't play the way this does!

Could you not edit the controls with steam controller editor? Maybe not but I know with the Steam Controller you have full control over that. I thought maybe some of that functionality was brought over to other controllers as well.

It’s an excellent idea, and I have tried it - I’m actually pretty good at creating decent control schemes for KB+M only games. Sadly, Ion Fury I found very difficult to get right, if only because its many mouse and joystick settings conflict with all the setups I attempt. I thought it might be easier to just use the game’s own control configuration options but it’s all so awkward.

Eh, I’ll bite the bullet and shuffle my desk around. I’m not completely averse to KB+M and the game’s definitely worth the effort. Just wish the controller support was so much better.

I'm really interested in this. I've been waiting for the Xbox version but I've been worried the aiming's going to be clunky.

Are there values that those options have as default? That might help tell what they are. It's possible one of those could be the acceleration curve which would be what you want. Ideally the game has some option for that as well as deadzone sizes

Also, since I can't find anything else on it, I'd like to ask what the controller bindings are like. Does it offer full button customization and does it offer some kind of weapon wheel or just cycling?
