The nade launcher should have a different crosshair for better distance assessment.
I didn't know this until like the last chapter of the game when I accidentally read it in one of the menus. It really makes them a ton of fun to use and muuuch better than without knowing it.
This is why you read the readme before starting the game. The bowling bomb charge is amazing for countering tough ambushes or to prevent enemies from chasing you during a retreat.
I never had any trouble with the Grenade Launcher; in fact I love it. The steep arc drop has a very down and dirty "medieval" feel to it. It reminds me a lot of the Grenade Launcher in Quake - which is probably not a coincidence since that is one of the most satisfying launchers in gaming history.
I actually adore Quake 2 but I hate the Grenade launcher in it, with its ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ tendency to clip projectiles right through enemies. Compared to that the one in Ion Fury is okay, but too reliant on direct hits to do much damage.
