We are considering updating the old maps in a few places

Yeah that's what I'm concerned with too, the extreme frame tearing and mouse floatiness are my two biggest gripes right now.
Apparently a lot of it is coming from newer (meaning anything relatively recent really) versions of Windows / GPU drivers not really knowing what to do with the ancient OpenGL 1.1 the engine is based on so I don't expect that problem going away anytime soon. That's why I don't get this talk about a "performance boost" either because for 99% of the campaign there is nothing wrong with the game's performance per se, why the game can look like if it was running like absolute trash is because there are inconsistencies. Those can have this weird butterfly effect where they lead to stuttering, some very jarring tearing and a vsync feature that's just broken.
Nobody's going to get rid of that by I dunno, optimizing a few scripts in the maps and I fear that this "performance boost" will mean just that. I don't need 1000 fps, I'd love to have only 144 that's consistent.
Idk man, in most games my mouse feels responsive and snappy, but here it seems like I'm always jumping past an enemies head or trying too hard to focus on hitting them when the natural reaction should just be to aim and shoot, something definitely still feels off about the input.
Oh, sorry for misreading lol. I really do hope the input fixes come in the next patch because I'm really getting antsy about playing this.
The Wendigo looking thing looks like it has higher fidelity. I like. But the Millipede is just getting a makeover. I am skeptical.
All I really desire is for the "All I got was this Lousy TShirt" Achievement to be cofnirmed to function in the correct parameters, then I can give it a go.
Also Steam Workshop support.
Can you please give us a rough estimate of "Soon"? One week? One month?
Thanks
