2) You don't have to worry, if the Bombshell IP is ever transferred, that won't affect our license.
You may be thinking of how Interceptor went through bankruptcy. The outcome of those proceedings was that 3D Realms recovered the full Bombshell IP and game.
I was afraid this IP will end like SiN did. :'(( Rest its soul.
I mean is it broken at a certain point ?
It's a bit complex - 3D Realms always owned the IP, while Interceptor owned the actual game code.
Once Interceptor folded, and Slipgate was born, the rights to the Code itself, went to the administrator of the bankruptcy.
We simply bought the code back.
For a moment I thought you guys ended like Ritual Entertainment, god I miss SiN, wish they were still around to remake the original and continue the episodes or to give us a proper SiN 2.
I really miss these 90's trash talking action characters.
All in all id say lets just wait for Voidpoint to finish their work on Ion Maiden so we can expect more Bombshell awesomeness from 3D Realms and Slipgate in the future eh?
I know People hate on 4eva, but actually i really did enjoy it. It might not meet my expectations which i had...mostly due the long developingtime but overall (for me) it was an solid classic shooter, and enjoyed it way more than any Campaign which Call of Duty or Battlefield mainbranch offered...
