not even done with episode 3. Im in that huge building.
hunting secrets take so much extra time. def. worth $25
It has close to 30 maps & most of those are decent sized, other than boss fight type areas. Even some of those have quite a bit to offer for exploration.
The question is, is this game going to suit your tastes?
Visually, it's quite impressive. The maps are pretty extensive and have a lot of nooks and crannies to crawl around in.
The game plays closer to Shadow Warrior from the build engine era, if you're familiar with that.
You can experience redundancy and repetitiveness with weapons and enemies if you try to marathon through it in only a few sessions.
I guess it's a bit shorter if you rush trough on easier difficulties, but doing some secrethunting is necessary unless you want to run out of ammo constantly.
Also I died only a few times, so unlike blood very little of the gametime comes from redoing the same murder room over and over again.
If not, thread carefully. It's hard, vicious and you will probably get lost if you don't pay super attention.
Unless the game gets taken down for whatever reason or all life on Earth perishes, I suppose...
I'm far from a FPS or Build Engine aficionado (translation: I suck), so I'm not surprised I'm among the slowest times.
Glad someone who isn't a rabid fan pf build games can like the game still.
