Nice list. :steamhappy: It's not a critical addition or anything, but maybe you could also add map names in brackets as well. ie: [z1a1.map], [z1a2.map], etc.

I don't think that's necessary, the Zone and Act numbers are already listed.

I suppose so, ya. Aside from bonus mission, the other map names are pretty much straight forward and self explanatory; the bonus mission is too, it just has slightly longer map names, but you're right - Not a big deal.

Make this a guide so it'll be easier to be found

I'm in the final level, Epicenter, and the episodes after Episode 3 are still not available in the new game option...

Actually I think you got it wrong, Fox got it right, and those are all from Mission/Campaign 1. Here's a quote from a fellow developer from the "Launch Day Technical Update" thread:

That's weird. Why would you name the entire game "episode 1"?

I think you're the only one who has used the word "episode" so far, so you must be referring to what's been called Mission and Campaign by the devs. I suppose if they create new maps, those will be part of Mission/Campaign 2.

Each zone could be referred to as a chapter (in fact chapter is the word used within the game menus). There are 7 zones (chapters) in the mission (a.k.a. episode?).

Why make the entire game one mission (episode?)? Well, if you were to use the term 'episode' instead of 'mission', you could say that this leaves an open door for the creation of 'episode 2'. Not to say that this would ever come about, but the door is there and ready for use if that were to ever be the case.

I was kind of wondering where the reference to 'episode' was coming from initially. I haven't seen it used elsewhere myself.

It comes from 30 years worth of FPS experience. Virtually every other game from that era uses the term "episode" to describe a sequence of levels.

Oh ya, I know that several other games use that terminology and break things up like that, I'm just working off of the context as it is laid out in this specific game. ;)
