The two types of secondary fire on the other hand are essential to get through most of the more difficult late game encounters.
If you ask me they kinda had to make the primary fire suck. Because despite it being the BFG of the game you find a LOT of ammo for it.
Can't tell how often I was out of everything and still had 75 shots for the bow since you only take it out for 3 enemy types.
On the Screenshot i have disable Autoaim and i am standing still, if i would move my Crosshair a tick to the left then it will shoot to the Crosshair but this is realy a hugh different on the Picture where my Crosshair is and where i am shooting at.
Nok
Take a look at what?
Nam or Napalm in some Countrys is a Build Engine Game.I can't post the Shop Link because it's censored in Germany...
The sequel of Nam is World War II-GI i guess it has a Weapon Zoom function.
If I use it, I use it as a shotgun essentially with a wider cone and penetrating ability. Basically it's really good at killing anything up close with the 5-bolt charge or the fully charged bolt-spam on bosses. Certain rooms that are pretty small but have dangerous foes like those flying Deacons (the demon looking things that shoot rockets) for example are easy to clear by peak shooting the 5-bolt secondary at close range, especially if you have a door there.
Stuff like that. Even in the open you can run up to beefier enemies (like the Brute robots) while charging and release 5 bolts into it at close range, and this often 1-shots certain ones. Two-shots almost everything else (not including bosses obviously).
Are you playing the same game? Loverboy, ion bow, penetrator, all them are phenomenal long range. Even if you can't aim loverboy's alt fire deletes just about any enemy for the cost of 1 extra bullet per enemy. This game's biggest problem is that the first few guns you get are perfect so I never need to use any of the big stuff like the clusterpucks or chaingun.
Yes, if I had unlimited ammo with Loverboy I'd have a hard time justifying using anything else except bosses (where Ion Bow dominates). If you can headshot with it it's amazing close range and alt fire deals with small flying enemies with ease from long range.
I like the chaingun a lot but ammo consumption makes it inefficient and a bad idea to use save specific situations... Loverboy from an ammo efficiency standpoint is a bit ridiculous and works well pretty much all the time.
Just putting that out there..
Believe it's because it's not true hitscan and has 3 pellets and the projectiles can miss targets that change trajectory while firing.
I also know targets can move behind objects after you start firing so the second hit will obviously miss there.
