I know in game it said you don't have to wait for the pattern to show up, but it's not reflecting that in game? Does it matter what side you're on when you press it?

Hello ! :) If you are looking forward having the black background but have no money or you don`t want to spend 5-7-10 euros simply do this. Buy each trading card then craft the first badge. During the crafting of the first badge you have a high chance to be awarded the black background ! So you will spend 1 euro or at max 2 euros for the background and also get a badge in the process.
