a really good horror game with unexpected twists 7.5/10

I absolutely loved it! The game’s pixel 2D style immediately gave me that nostalgic Game Boy / retro vibe, and it really works with the atmosphere.

The lore is incredibly deep and interesting, even after completing the game 100%, I’m still thinking about the story and the shadows. The Tapes menu adds extra layers of mystery, and the way the game blurs the line between psychological and supernatural horror is amazing. There’s a real sense that the world is bigger than what you see.

The characters are memorable, and I loved how their personalities and choices affect the story. The dialogues are excellent, but there’s a lot of reading. If you’re NOT into reading dialogue-heavy games, you might find yourself spamming space or the left mouse button to get through it.

Overall, this game combines nostalgic pixel art, a compelling story, deep lore, and great characters in a way that really sticks with you. Highly recommended if you enjoy story-driven games with a subtle horror vibe.
