Highest skill needed?
Does anyone know what the highest amount you need in skills to succeed tends to reach? I've just found one that needs 9 in Metaphysics, do they go higher than that or am I safe thinking thats gonna be about the highest I'll see?

Thanks for reminding me I can min-max my adventurers. For some reason it completely slipped my mind!

I've seen 20 strength, 12 mechanics, conversation skills seem to cap at 10.

You can get +1 to all skills sleeping at The Wild Mare, and +2 to skills from drugs, +1/2 from various pieces of equipment and you'll likely get +4/5 from party boosts pretty easily so you don't need to min/max much

13 diplomacy watcher only is OK, there are items with bonuses.

Not.
Don't forget that you can start with 3 points in any skill right off the hat. And you have then the opportunity to increase that skill 20 times.
Not to mention the +skills items, buffs, potions/food/incenses that you can use.

Sorry 16 mechanics. Just went there again.

It gives +2, it doesn't double it

I guess i worded it wrong its definitely more convenient to have 2 fulltime mechanics because youd be able to open every chest/lock when you first encounter them. (since youd only need half the score).

yes you can food, buff, potion etc but in that time you could of just left clicked the damn thing and be done with it in 1 second.

Not preaching my way is right its just the lazy carefree way of doin it.

It doesn't work this way.
Also, this means you miss some other skills.

.
Incorrect. The scores aren't added together, your companions only give you bonus points at specific breakpoints.
Once your companions total scores reach 1 / 2 / 4 / 7 / 11 / 16 / 22 , they give one addition point to the watcher.

A check of 10 for example with 5 points on the watcher would require 11 points between your companions to make up the difference.

Found a 19 mechanics. That was the only one above 16 that I saw.

There's very few mechanics checks above 12, only a handfull.

Seen a 20 bluff check at the false god quest.
