Farming currency
Hey everyone, now granted i'm no that far into the game almost lvl 9. however i'm seeing quite a lot of things at vendors that are 15k+ most i've had was 10k and i felt like i farmed a lot just to get 1 item. Any tricks or anything to get a lot of gold? is it worth creating a thief character to pickpocket people and steal things from houses?

Visit all the uncharted islands and clear them out.

a rogue is handy but not necessary, the higher level creatures have exceptional/supurb quality weapons later on and thats where you make your money, after doing one area late/endgame i sold for around 70-80k

Board alot of ships. Going in heavyhanded in missions instead of using diplomacy and skills. (opt to kill entire armies or groups.)

An idea occurred to me in that one big city (Whats its name). I like to run with the scripted characters for the sake of the story and interactions but I think I may create a rogue with high thieving skills to get some of those boxes I couldn't steal because of too low stealth.

My advice to you is try to get the "Junk Ship" (54K), with a full crew, and recruit/create companions as they will be added to your crew when boarding other ships you encounter along the sea's.

I've found most the gear I've found from quests/story quests to be useless, such as armor, and or weapons, so I've sold everything, to make the amount of money in order to buy the "Junk Ship".

Around level 9-11, you'll find ship combat much easier (especially if you have AI input turned on), and all you have to do is watch your AI's slaughter people within 3 mins on sea.

Once I've gotten the "Junk Ship", I've been attacking every single sheep I've seen, taking their wears, and selling em off.

Once you've become almost unstoppable on the sea, and fighting against other ships, Money won't be an issue.

Within 2-3 hours of gameplay, that's not on sea alone mind you, I can easily net a profit of 80K+ just by selling all the useless gear I pick up.

This game seems tobe designed around loot, and most of it is uselss at that. So don't be afraid to sell almost all the gear you have. Honestly the ony things I've been saving, are "Gold Rarity". Everything just gets sold, and BAM, easy money.

The fishmonger in the starting city has infinite money. You can steal everything you sold her back. Sneak up to the stand left of her and sell it over and over again

NO. I just played through both of them back to back and found PoE2 a much shorter playthrough

I'm probably not supposed to be, but I'm just going around the uncharted islands scumming loot (stealthing around maps, picking opportunistic fights). Seems to be paying off.

Hey if you have scaling turned on both ways you can technically be anywhere at anytime in the game. If it works how its described.

Ended the game with all ships and 600.000 copper.

Just sell all the white/blue armors and weapons (from basic quality to superb) and you are going to make a lot of copper. You're not gonna use it anyway.
