I had 700,000 gold (and probably 500000 more in items I didn't sell) in reserve at the end of the game and not once did I think "I wish I had enough money". It was more like "Damn my stash gets so full, I should sell stuff once in a while".

WHY DO SOMETHING JUST BECAUSE YOU CAN? I have only used cheats in games when the game had put me a a postion where that was the only choice other than starting over. WHY PLAY IF YOUR GOING TO CHEAT YOUR WAY THROUGH (takes a deap breath)...Perhaps its because we live in a game rich environment and players want to play as many games as possible.
People who cheat in games tend to do so in life as well. Do you really like cheating or are you just doing it because you can?

The game already gives you cheats, they're called Berath's Blessings.

Main point about this video is not easy money. It's about 1000 bugs in POE2 that I encountered in 2 playthroughs. Some were game breaking(3-4 of them), some were funny... This game is rushed, it feels more like a pirate game then a dungeon crawling CRPG. I'll wait for a year for all the dlc's and patches and then replay POE2 again. Now it's for only one playthrough. Theres no real "cheating" in a standalone game. Why do it? I did it in Dark Souls cause I wanted to enjoy the area and character design without busting myself. Vampire Bloodlines I made myself immortal and just enjoyed the story. Nothing wrong with it if its not a multiplayer game and youre not getting some advantage over other players :o)

I know your Comment is old, still want to say something. First, why care? Singleplayer cheating doesnt hurt anyone so why is it so important?
Second, I play games normally on the first playtrough, and then often cheat in the second or third. Reason Is in many Games its fun to do whatever you want (mostly fps games and other combat games) not having to worry about health etc.
Thats mainly my Reason, others for example dont want to bother with buying/selling ♥♥♥♥ and making money, want to just play the story in the pace that they want, so they cheat themselves money to afford what they have to buy, not optional ♥♥♥♥. Lastly not exactly what you said, there are many people who dont have much time to play so they make games easier so they dont have to retry fights and the like/just enjoy the story. I think there are even more explanations but this is what comes into my Mind.
