The griffon blade.
So.. Is this encounter insanely rare or what ? almost at 700 hours and only gotten it once.
How about you guys ? Any of you have better luck with it ?..

Got it every time in the city. Just transition between areas often

Would say its hard to avoid transitioning when you do the quests. Guess im just unlucky on that account.

I got it last time, when i traveled from The Gullet to Queen's Berth. And as far as i know, you need to travel from or to The Gullet to trigger this encounter.

Got this on two consecutive complete playthroughs on pre-SSS dlc. Not sure if I'm gonna get it again on my third.

Yea i read this too, however as i said im at 700 hours and i have traveled alot to and from the gullet.. Sometimes just in attempts to trigger this.
