Which faction did you side with?
Huana
Royal Deadfire Company
Valian Trading Company - Castol or Alvari
Principi sen Patrena - Furrante or Aedyls
Independent

Bonus question - Who was your favorite faction leader?

Castol with the VTC because he was the least stupid/obnoxious out of all of them and he has pretty much the only practical answer to the answer of what kith would do after Eothas did the thing. Alvari wanted me to oust him for...some reason...despite all of his endeavors with animancy and luminous adra going rather well. Everyone else can shove it.

Answer to both questions is:

Aeldys, duh!

None. They can all go [sensored cause my Watcher is polite] :steammocking:

Bonus question: Again none. Its like asking would you eat out of a dumpster or out of the gutter. Maybe one is better... sure...

I dislike her too but at least she was straightforward.

Castol actievely supports Furrante´s slavery policy. If that is not obnoxious, I don´t know what is...

I sided with Furrante, but my favorite leader was Atsura. He was very well written.

Vailians - too greedy and capitalistic
RDC - too imperialistic
Principi - they're thieves

I sided with Huana

He does... BUT he learns his lesson and never does it again if you call him on it.

He claims to have learned his lesson and promises he'll never do it again.

Wouldn't trust that guy to run a hot dog stand unless he was at stabbing distance the entire time.
I sided with the Huana. In the end, I really just couldn’t turn down the opportunity to play the anti-colonialist choice.

I don’t at all feel that it was in character for my Kind Wayfarer to blow up the RDC facility, nor to frame Castol for it. And yes, I could have taken the “okay screw you all then, I’ll do it myself” path, but that’s just such a boring videogamey narrative. So I did the queen’s mission but I think of it more like a flaw in the story - like it’s really Obsidian that did it by narrowing everything to violence at that point. I get what they were doing in not wanting clear, you know, “good” and “evil” factions, but it felt too blunt in the end, and a bit cynical.

Would have been if you got things resolved nicely. As it is it gives you one of the worst possible endings so I found it interesting.

The Huana are impossibly backwards and self-destructive.

Well, murdering the hell out of all the slavers at Crookspur puts a swift end to that, so problem solved.

If it's stealing the ghost-boat, that won't trigger until it's time to go to Ukaizo.
