How Would One Create A Ninja?
I was thinking about adding a kind of ninja character to my party. I would like to see anyone else's ideas on how they would build a ninja in PoE2.

Depends on what ninja archetype you're basing yourself (yes there are a few). There is the elementalist ninja, naruto like, that would be something like a rogue/wizard. The trickster ninja, just using the trickster with mechanics/explosives should do, could trickster/cipher too. There is the d&d wizardry ninja which is a monk/rogue.
If you're looking for the historical ninja (which is not the folklore ninja stuff above) it should be more something like fighter/assassin with some stealth skills (real ninjas were usually just samurais doing covert ops).

helwalker/assassin w/ dual daggers. Ton of ways to hit and escape or pop smoke and vanish and one-shot enemy ranged/wizards (soft targets). Helwalker downsides shouldn't be an issue:
Don't get hit. Requires a lot of micro.

Rogue cant recall the subclass but with the illusion spells. Thats about as ninja as it can get aint it ?.

Hmm. Devoted(Sable or Sword)/Assassin.

Lots of stealth for a-stabbin', explosives for a-bombin' and mechanics for a-trappin'
