Favorite companions?

Im warming up to Xoti, her spells are awesome and the voice actress did a good work. The chats with her have been quite interesting.

Serafen! Not for the skills or the class (although cyphers are fun, I don't tend to use one), but for his fun, energetic character and the pirate argot. He and Eder felt like the two most lifelike companions to me. Some people hate him, but that only further proves how well he's written.

Aloth w/o Iselmyr's personality. He somehow reacts what I would have reacted on certain situations, so I kinda relate to him.

Edér, Xoti, and Serafen are the mainstays of my party--which is interesting because I didn't expect to like Serafen on account of his rough edges so to speak. He surprised me by turning out to be a rather complicated character. In general I think PoE2 did a much better job with companions than PoE1; Edér was the only one that really stuck with me from the first game (which made me very glad he returned).

Mirke and Serafen would be my two favorites. Drunken horny orlan pirates are the best.

Iselmyr would be after that. She makes Aloth tolerable.

I should like Xoti more than I do, since Laura Bailey is one of my favorite VO type people. But her accent didn't work for me this time around.

Eder and Pallegina are must in my party at all times since POE 1. Like their personalities but also great at skills and combat.

I liked Pallegina a lot in the first game, but it seems like she lost a lot of her fire between games. I get why but I wish you could help her get it back. Kinda wish they'd managed to hit the stretch goals that would've made Ydwin and Rekke full companions.

Mirke as a rouge/monk is a very strong fighter and she never complains. Serafen is fun, especially when paired with Tekehu. I didn't like Pallegina in this game which is sad because I liked her in the first game. She gets rubbed the wrong way by pretty much every other character and usually mine.

Liam O'Brian is amazing at cursing :)

Edit: Maia is also amazing here, probably her best work - bounces off Liam in the booth well.

One of the huge failings of Po2, besides the boring Pirates scenario are the boring Characters. PoE1 had a lot more to offer.
