Nice, do they take place somewhere mid-game or is it endgame? and does it expand on the main plot or are they branching side missions. Like companion missions and such.
They expand upon the main game, mid game. Harbingers watch can be done as early as when you first get your ship, but unless you have level scaling turned on it'll be too high or level. Forgotten sanctum and the other one are unlocked once you hit act 3, and forgotten sanctum even adds alternative endings to the main game, as it's advertised as a "weapon" to kill eothas. The seeker slayer survivor dlc is just an island of arena fights with unique mechanics
This explains what you're most likely getting when you start playing the DLCs:
Knowing that you're not into PoE1's DLC just for its disconnection to the main story regardless of how it still remains the best DLC to the PoE series imo, The Forgotten Sanctum DLC is most likely your only bet for getting the experience you wanted.
That was extremely helpful thank you, I went ahead and bought the full package.
Together with DOS2 as a bonus :)
