Changing spell direction

Is there a way when targeting a spell, like wall of fire, to 'point' or target SW to NE instead of say, N to S?

Apparently, it can only be changed depending on the caster's location, so there's no mechanics as to rotate the wall on a different angle.

I was hoping I was just missing something. Pausing and futzing for a few minutes I can usually get it close. Thanks for the reply.
