How to activate AI???
Hi!

In some videos and guides, they talk about an AI, where you can configure the behaviour of your group during a fight.

How do you configure that AI?

I tried doing what the guide says (click on a portrait and then click on the cogs), but the cogs don't appear on my screen (only the number if things I can craft).

I think that's the wrong cog(?). Look for the icon that shows a head facing sideways with a cog/sword/"diagonal line" at the center. Right-click that icon to show the AI customization.

AI with a settings sign on the head means AI Activated will auto use spells and skills.

If you are playing in Turn Based mode, there is no AI function

Does the game still have AI behavior thing? I can't find it anywhere.

Only available for real time with pause. If you selected turnbased mode at the start of the game then its not available to you. In real time mode select either character by clicking on their portrait you will see options pop up on top of the character portrait. Right click on the purple head (looking side ways and/or with a red streak across it) and it will take you to AI settings page and at the bottom of this page is a button called AI editor. Clicking this button will take you to a much more involved sets of options that you can incrementally set for your characters. You will know the AI is active when there is a green border around the purple head. There are two modes, one is basic attack mode that will only attack enemies with regular strikes and then there is a mode that follows the settings you have tailored in the editor.

There is no AI behavior for turn based. AI is so your enemies will act in real time so you're not pausing every 0.5 seconds to issue new orders. Such a problem doesn't exist in turn based because you act one turn at a time.
