Hey. Is there any anti cheat system in the game? I played a couple rounds and at least i saw 2 hackers. They had multiple abilities as witch.

The wardrobe located typically at Hunter spawn allows players to switch abilities/skills mid-round! Both teams can use the wardrobe.

I'm sure he didn't use it.
About 7 hunters chased him and did not enter the place where the wardrobe is located. I forgot to mention that he had infinite mana, constantly flew and used the mushroom/possess ability. But thanks for the info about the wardrobe! :)

We are not aware of any cheat that would allow for a player to use more than 2 skills at once, so we'd invite any screenshots or videos that could help us figure this out! If you run into these players again, a recording would be extremely useful for us. :)

Regarding infinite mana, the person might just picked-up power-up which gives mana boost for some time. Also I suppose they took “confusing wave” power-up which gives the same effect on the hunters as shroom ability. That’s why it might look like they use several abilities at the same time. Also there are some movement mechanics which might give significant boost to velocity for witch using jumppads. A lot of experienced players with aggressive moving gameplay as witch might be considered as cheaters. Especially for newcomers who haven’t figured out all the movement mechanics in the game yet.

Hahahahhah he was the witch with infinity mana and 3 abilities. Hahaha. Sadly i don't have any screenshot or video but me and my friend reported him so i hope he will get bann! Haha still can't believe. What's the chance for it.

Thats crazy... I reported fdbhavg before. He'd find people without vetting where they were hiding. I spectated him enough

Yes, I forgot to write that down. He found everyone on the server. But when he was a witch, it was very obvious that something was wrong.

What do you mean you are not aware there are cheats?!
There are numerous ESP hacks etc. for Witch It available - free and paid!

This almost sounds like you're not checking for it actively - this should be done by e.g. a QA team / responsible person.
Just get an old machine, put it on an isolated VLAN and at least download the existing hacks and test for them.

As solutions, fix obvious script kiddy stuff.
Also implement a decent spectator feature. The ability to report players and if they get caught multiple times could have a decent effect - especially if coupled with the unreal replay feature.

Asking people to capture / video is futile. This game doesn't have a super techy playerbase - most wouldn't know how to or even bother. They just quit and call it a day.
Also asking for screenshots - well... I'll just get some tea instead of responding to that.


Still awesome to see devs reading the forums and caring. But I do hope the security aspect is being picked up on.

It also seems that people use ESP for Witch It, there are some people that ONLY play Hunter to abuse this and get multiple kills in every round. They just leave the server when they are selected as witches and rejoin to be Hunter. Spectated some but like someone said here, the team wont do anything and could simply remove the "report" button as it has no effect at all lol.

Just google ESP for the game and see for yourself how easy it seems to cheat here. ridiculous... i like the game a lot but this sh!t just f***s me

Hey, I just came out of a match with a player named Nick who I suspect might be cheating, he seemed to bee-line to all the witches including me, so I was checking on Google and found this thread. Ironically in your above quote it sounds like you are talking about ME, because I like to be annoying from time to time and use the mana power-up to fly into the sky and do an aerial bombardment with the shrooms, but I very rarely use the possess ability so I know it wasn't me, plus looks like you found the guy.

It's really difficult to tell if someone is really good or is legitimately a cheater in this game, unless they are a bit more blatant like bee-lining to all the witches.
