At the end of a round, to the left of your level progress, you'll see a cauldron which will gradually fill up with experience over time. Once it fills up, it usually gives you a random material, recipe or item. During the event, filling this cauldron up on certain maps will sometimes drop an event material.
For example, if you want to collect 'flowers' as part of the Witch Forest Event, you're going to want to fill the cauldron when playing one of the new maps - "Morgaryll Forest" or "Twisted House". The same applies for the Halloween event - fill up the cauldron while playing on Halloween maps for the chance to drop 'haunted candy', which you can combine with a Gloomkin to generate a random Halloween item!
Crafting Event Recipes
Alternatively, event items can be crafted in the 'Witches Cauldron' section of the main menu. To find it, click 'collection' in the main menu and scroll to find the 'Halloween Item' and 'Witch Forest Item' recipes. The main difference with this, is that you can craft specific rarities of event items using this method.
Hope this helps!
