I have a PS5, it's not about not wanting to set it up, it's about the principle of not forcing users who already bought and played your game to sign up on another platform for literally NO REASON.

Nah I ain't giving up my soul to playstation just to play one game there wasn't any problems with it being optional so why make it requirement now?

dont make your community go through unnecessary obstacles. yes its easy to make a PS account, but whats wrong with what we currently have. dumb way to lose some of your player base.

earlier they said patch fixed certain weapons that glitched and wasted repeated reloads...guess what i just used the flamethrower that DID THE EXACT SAME GLITCH AS I WAS CLICKING TO FIRE!!!!
these recent patches/fixes are not democratic enough to save our soldiers...now this psn account might END our current war against both fronts...

Please keep the account linking optional. I've been locked out of my PSN account for months now due to Sony's incompetence, so it's not even an option for me. I dislike account linking on principle as well and will be seeking a refund should you go through with this.

At the end of the day, Sony owns Arrowhead. Its okay because DEMOCRACY SHALL PREVAIL. Your player base will determine whether they like this changes or not.

Anyone else still unable to link Steam to Playstation account? I have been unsuccessful since launch on Steam (yes I bought on PS5 also) so I share my Steam version with my brother and we play together. But sometimes, they are on my PS5 and I want to play on Steam but DON'T HAVE ANY of my good stuff linked to Playstation because it shows an error page every time. I've been working on this with PS support and have a ticket open for WEEKS unsolved. They said it's escalated to their engineering team and now I'm told today that it will become MANDATORY so I won't be able to play my Steam copy that I paid FULL PRICE? Help? Any tips? I've found tips online and is not working.
